Rist — Talent Strategy Company

Rist is the personal brand of Lina Kalysh, operating at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, recruitment strategy, and professional education. Working across both B2B consulting and B2C educational programs, the brand required an identity capable of communicating expertise while remaining human and approachable.

As recruitment increasingly became transactional and efficiency-driven, the challenge was to reintroduce depth, empathy, and thoughtful decision-making into how hiring is perceived.

The goal was to create a personal brand identity that balanced credibility and empathy — positioning recruitment not as a mechanical process, but as a meaningful exploration of people and potential.

The identity needed to attract new clients while remaining flexible enough to support consulting services, educational programs, and long-term brand growth.

The conceptual foundation emerged from the founder’s passion for diving. Recruitment became a metaphorical deep dive — not into the ocean, but into personality.

Just as divers explore hidden depths to discover rare forms of life, meaningful hiring requires immersion beyond surface-level evaluation. This metaphor shaped the narrative and visual language of the brand.

The visual identity draws inspiration from underwater environments, translating depth into color, rhythm, and composition.

A flexible design system was developed including logo, typography, brand guidelines, social media templates, and educational program covers — enabling consistent communication across both consulting and educational contexts.

The system was intentionally designed to remain intuitive and accessible, allowing both designers and non-designers to maintain brand consistency as the business scaled. The identity later became the foundation for the website developed by an external agency, extending the brand experience into digital space.

I led the brand identity development from concept to system design, translating the founder’s philosophy into a cohesive visual language and scalable brand framework supporting both consulting and education.

RESULTS

Following the launch of the identity, Rist evolved from a personal consulting practice into a structured talent-strategy business driven by personal brand and organic communication.

Within 16 months the brand worked with 80+ clients, revenue grew 5× reaching $80K+, and the educational program launched three live cohorts with 100+ students in a year. The blog achieved 60%+ open rates, while LinkedIn grew organically from 9 to 15,700 followers within 12 months.

After the launch of the website and identity, 56% of content interactions converted into discovery calls, while 100% of clients came through organic content, referrals, and personal brand visibility.

The identity transformed Rist from an individual expert presence into a recognizable and scalable brand ecosystem where storytelling became the primary driver of business growth.
